The Canadian Museum of Nature is the first building in Canada created to house a national museum. It’s a national historic site and the birthplace of Canada’s national museums. In 2013, RTM conducted a heritage restoration of this landmark building’s stain glass, stone masonry, and copper standing seam roof.
As an added challenge, RTM conducted their work within an occupied building with multiple tenants. But this was done successfully through daily coordination between RTM’s management team and the owner’s team.
