A research centre for the University of Toronto’s Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics, the David Dunlop Observatory was originally opened in 1935. Recently, the RTM team undertook a complete exterior heritage masonry restoration including waterproofing the foundation of the building, copper flashing work, stone replacement, window restoration, landscaping, and restoration fo the exterior coating of the building dome.
