Each restoration project presents a unique set of challenges. The work RTM performed on the historic St. Augustine’s Seminary in Toronto, Ontario, was no exception. RTM worked through unknown site conditions with the project consultants to come up with construction drawings based on their designs. The restoration included scaffolding, masonry, including installation of pre-cast units designed to match existing heritage roman stone, a tremendous amount of copper work, including flashings, copper cladded wood windows with new double-glazed windows, and a complete restoration of the copper dome.
